David Philips
Born in Christchurch, David is the Head Teacher at Wilkinson's English Language School. He loves teaching and is very experienced. David was educated at the Canterbury and Massey Universities. He taught in Primary Schools and has been a school Principal. David trained as an English Language Teacher graduating in CELTA in 2002. He loves travelling in New Zealand because there is so much beautiful country to see. In his spare time, David really enjoys music - singing and playing the piano. He also enjoys bike riding and reading, as well as his 2 cute cats - Lizza and Bella.

Julie Leith
Julie has been working at Wilkinson's English Language School longer than she cares to remember in various roles. She graduated from the University of Canterbury with a BA with Honours in French and has taught English in France and Korea. She did a CELTA course in 2001. Julie is also a music teacher and her interests include calligraphy, embroidery, table tennis and languages.

Mike Coe
Mike was born in New Zealand and has a Graduate Diploma in Special Education (Literacy). He taught in Technical and Further Education colleges in Sydney, Australia for 20 years. He has been the teacher of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) course at Wilkinson's English Language School since 2002. His interests are current affairs, national and international news, films, sport and physical exercise.

Anna Beach
Anna is a talented, enthusiastic New Zealander who was born and raised in Christchurch. She graduated from the University of Canterbury with a BA in Chinese and Japanese. Anna then trained as an English Language Teacher, graduating from the Cambridge CELTA course in 2009. She loves travelling and has taught English in China. Anna is also a private Chinese teacher who loves art, languages, socializing and many outdoor activities such as tennis, biking and running. She has run two half marathons, including one in May 2011 on the Great Wall of China.

Sue Grimshaw
Sue recently joined Wilkinsons as our IELTS teacher. She's originally from the UK and moved to NZ in 2002 with her Kiwi husband and three children. She learnt French at school ( quite a long time ago now) and can even remember some of it ! She has a degree in social science and used to work as a social worker before she got into ESL teaching. She loves getting to know people from all over the world and finding out about their countries and cultures. Sue has many years' experience of teaching students of all levels from beginners to advanced, and getting them through IELTS tests and Cambridge exams. She's an avid reader, movie watcher and enjoys singing. |

Victoria McFadden
Victoria was born and raised in Christchurch. She studied German and Linguistics at Canterbury University. She has been an English teacher for 10 years, and has taught in Prague, Czech Republic, and summer schools in the UK. She loves learning new things and is now the Office Administrator, and still loves teaching. Victoria enjoys music, and plays several different instruments, and loves spending time with friends and family, and meeting new people. |
